Swimming Jutsu

Name: Ninja breath holding technique
Description: A technique that allows ninja to hold their breath for longer than should be humanly possible enabling them to swim larger distances, first the ninja expands their lung capacity then uses chakra to inhale more deeply. Then the ninja lowers their blood pressure and heart rate they process oxygen slower enabling the ninja to hold their breath for over three times the normal period
Marker (all techniques require this one)
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: E

Name: Deep Sea Eye Jutsu
Description: A non bloodline doujutsu that builds a layer of chakra around the eye to keep irritants in water out, then constricts the pupil to adjust to the refracted light and darker conditions of underwater areas. The result is perfect underwater vision with or with out goggles
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: E

Name: Deep Sea Ear Jutsu
Description: A jutsu in which a layer of chakra keeps water from entering the ears, in addition to avoiding swimmers ear and inner ear disruption from water pressure this jutsu also uses that same layer of chakra to filter sound back in to an audible frequency, allowing the swimmer to hear underwater as well as they do on land including voices.
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: D

Name: Deep Sea Mouth Jutsu
Description: a layer of chakra is made over the mouth which keeps water out and holds air in, this enables the user to open their mouth and even speak underwater, when used with the deep sea ear jutsu it allows for ninja to converse underwater
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: D

Name: Fin webbing jutsu
Description: The user creates a layer of chakra between the fingers and toes which does not allow water to pass though it, this enables the ninja to swim as though they had webbed fingers and flippers on their feet, increasing speed and maneuverability with out draining stamina
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: D

Name: Deep Diving pressure jutsu
Description: the biggest hazard of diving deep undersea is that the enhanced water pressure can damage the diver’s body, this jutsu prevents the need for decompression and removes the risk of internal damage. The user fortifies their body by exerting a push of chakra from them on all sides to counter the pressure of the water, this allows them to dive to depths that would normally be to deep for human beings though the chakra toll does not permit them to remain there for to long.
Requires deep sea eye, deep sea ear and deep sea mouth jutsu
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: The art of underwater walking
Description: Similar to the art of water walking but perfumed beneath the surface, by gathering chakra at their feet the user may treat any body of water underfoot as a solid surface and push off of it, this allows them to turn and maneuver underwater at both enhanced speeds and control. This can also be used to stop and stand underwater with out treading.
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Water sensing bearings jutsu
Description: A simple jutsu that allows the user to become immune to the disorienting effects of undertow, the user employs chakra to attain a slight buoyancy, allowing them to always feel the direction of “up” even if they are totally spun and knocked around far below the water’s surface
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Buoyancy control technique
Description: A simple jutsu by which chakra is used to alter the bodies density just enough to become more or less buoyant in water, enabling them to rise and sink with a level of ease unseen in all nature, float like a bubble of air and sink like a stone at will
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Insulation technique
Description: The biggest disadvantage humans have as compared to marine mammals is that even with the ability to hold their breath the lower temperatures of deep waters do not allow them to remain submerged for extended periods, this jutsu allows the users body heat to remain localized to the water around their bodies at all times, countering an otherwise unforeseen disadvantage of deep diving
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Water concealment technique
Description: A very useful jutsu for aquatic ninja, the user gathers a very thin layer of chakra around themselves with the reverse effects of the aquatic eye, allowing the refracted light in the water bouncing off of their bodies making them become indistinguishable from the depths, though not making them invisible allows them to move undetected through water when submerged, only the aquatic eyes of a fellow user of this tree or aquatic animal can see the user clearly underwater, though a shadow remains visible above water
Requires deep sea eye jutsu and insulation technique
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Water current riding jutsu
Description: A technique which is often mistaken for a water release jutsu, using a push of chakra from their body the user creates a current of water around their body enabling them to swim at speeds much greater than normal human beings, a famous user of this jutsu was said to be able to swim as fast as a swordfish. Because this jutsu creates currents of water it is often used to swim though other water release jutsu
Requires art of underwater walking
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Water breathing jutsu
Description: The user actually establishes a layer of chakra within their wind pipe this filters out water leaving only the oxygen that it contains, this enables a ninja to literally breath water in as though they were a fish, this eliminates the need to surface from the water for air, and also allows the user to completely master swimming, this is considered the ultimate swimming jutsu.
Requires deep sea mouth jutsu
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Body shimmer technique
Description: Similar to the body flicker technique, but applied underwater, the user employs all their ninja swimming techniques to achieve a rapid burst of speed in one direction for both escape and attack.
Requires water current riding
Type: ninjutsu
Rank: B
