Name: Earth release; terrain command jutsu
Description: the basis of most any earth technique and a requirement for most of them, the user pushes chakra from their feet in to the ground below allowing the soil or rock beneath them to constitute a material fro earth release ninjutsu, this chakra can hold dirt together to act as practical rock for the duration of earth jutsu, the radius of this jutsus effect and the control they later have over this earth is dependant on the rank and control of the ninja
Marker (required for all techniques)
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: E

Name: Earth release; stone retrieval throwing technique
Description: a simple jutsu where the user reaches in to the ground and melds their chakra in to it to separate a “stone” which is then thrown at a target, though the chakra rich rock is more solid than most it wont do to much damage more than throwing a palm sized rock at someone.
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: E

Name: Earth release; rumbling ground jutsu
Description: Using this technique, the user sends chakra into the ground to cause the ground to shake.. The magnitude of shaking is rather minor though, only capable of slightly unbalancing the opponent. If done while the opponent is not on firm ground, (or just landing on the ground from a higher elevation) it may cause them to fall. Useful for distraction as well. The shaking affects a five-foot diameter circle for less than one post.
(this technique can be used to disrupt jutsu that require stable footing or solid ground)
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: E

Name: Earth release; hidden among the rocks jutsu
Description: This jutsu allows the user to enter the ground and "swim" in it for a limited time. However, while underground, the user may not use any other jutsu except as noted in this list. The user's time swimming starts at a base of one post and may be extended to four posts. Cooldown of one post. (an academy student can do this for only one post but a genin can do this for two posts, chunin for three, jonin for four, s rank for five at a time) the disadvantage of this technique is that if the ground in the mediate area is struck with a ninjutsu attack the user will most likely be unable to get out of the way in time.
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: D

Name: Earth release; Earth platform
Description: When performing the terrain command jutsu the shinobi places his/her hands on the ground and pushes a bit of his or her chakra into it rising it a couple inches off the ground and effectively making it “theirs”. This is accomplished by having the platform of rock sit atop a small mass of chakra. What results is a square of earth, outlined in dark lines that they can use to move around on. The user is able to move around at will on his platform, but the main use of the platform is for the movement it gives. Any linear movement is possible at the user’s full speed. Though the usefulness of this technique is however rather questionable, most of the time walking on the ground a few inches below doesn’t pose any real problem but this technique is useful for situations when one cant afford to, such as traversing trapped areas or water if they lack the appropriate jutsu to cross it
Requires stone retrieval throwing technique
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: D

Name: Earth release; stone projectile jutsu (minor)
Description: using the basics of the stone retrieval throwing technique the user shapes rocks in to the basic shapes of a projectile of choice, such as a kunai, shuriken, senbon or even a small kama, the shape isn’t exactly perfect and the projectiles lack the sharpness of the ordinals but its effective for when no projectile weapons are on hand or being used in conjunction with other earth techniques. Up to five can be made and projected out at a time.
Requires stone retrieval throwing technique
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: D

Name: Earth release; surprise earth barrier
Description: A basic earth protection ninjutsu where a curved wall roughly the size of the creator is created. The wall is made up of a sheet of rather thick rock which generally keeps projectiles and physical attacks at bay. Given that it is such a quick technique, it only is able to handle one attack before it weakens and crumbles but it is able to block c rank jutsu
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: D

Name: Earth release; Headhunter jutsu
Description: Usable only when underground via the “hidden among the rocks” jutsu , the user swims towards an opponent and reaches up and out of the ground. They are able to partially affect the opponent with Earth Military Movement as long as they maintain contact, dragging an opponent down into the earth, but only to the hip at this stage. Obviously, a target may try to shake the user off during the technique’s use and the opponent is also free to attack the users hands as they pull against them.
An academy student can only get the opponents ankles buried genie can only hope to drag a ninja down to their hips, but a chunking may be able to pull opponents down to their chest, a join is able to submerge opponents up to their head.
Requires hidden among the rocks jutsu
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Earth release; stone projectile jutsu
Description: After mastering the jutsu the user is able to creative up to fifteen very small projectiles (such as senbon) eight small projectiles (like shuriken) and four large (such as fuma shuriken), the projectiles are now as hard as steel on the edges and as sharp but still practically stone in other places, this technique can be used through the users earth defensive jutsu making it useful as a sneak attack
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Earth release; Stone clone
Description: The user creates a fairly basic clone, identical to them and able to perform simple attacks, these clones have no real connection to the user apart from control and cannot necessarily speak and are a bit on the slow side (one stage below the user in speed) how ever they make up for this by being the physically toughest clones, able to take serious damage before dissipating in to stone fragments, the damage they can take before this is literally how much force it would take to break apart a solid body of rock the size and shape of a person, they are very useful for blocking attacks and can be considered the “dumb thug” of the clone jutsu (these clones can perform one c rank earth jutsu)
Note: the user is limited to one at genin level, two at chunin, four at jonin, six at s rank.
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Earth release; Tremor sense
Description: By touching the ground, the user sends out a pulse of his own chakra in order to receive information back from his surroundings. This pulse, acts like a rather crude radar and the user can sense tremors or vibrations in the ground. These tremors allow the user to sense roughly when and where contact is made along with how many of the disruptors were moving at the time. It does not let the user know what in particular was moving. This is a one-shot pulse of twenty feet. To know where the next movement was, the user would have to cast this technique again. (this can be used underground, this can be cast multiple times in succession)
Requires rumbling ground jutsu, recommended for headhunter and hidden among the rocks jutsus)
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Earth release; stone wall jutsu (minor)
Description: This technique starts out with the user grabbing a large rock. The user adds a significant amount of chakra to this rock, and wherever it hits, a large, hexagonal prism-shaped wall rises up out of the ground that is approximately six feet in height and four feet in width, surrounding them and halting their movements. Very useful in bad situations where a good defense is needed. A very sturdy wall that cannot be removed from the ground, almost like a wall of a building, made of stone. This can block b rank jutsu
Requires earth platform
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Earth release; stone weapon jutsu
Description: A step up from the Stone Projectile Technique. By using chakra to control the earth below and around them, the user manipulates it into weapons that are able to take and deal out more damage than this technique’s predecessor. Though all weapons are functional they may crack apart after many parry from a metal weapon
A genin can make tanto sized weapons, a chunin can make katana sized weapons, a jonin can make spears and longer weapons and an s rank can create cleaver swords and the like.
Requires stone projectile
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Earth release; Stone caltrop jutsu
Description: a simple technique in which the user shapes stones in the surrounding area to point upward and become somewhat sharp, though they are only a couple inches high they can injure the feet of pursuers and make a section of a path incredibly treacherous to traverse. Its designed to keep pursuers away.
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Earth release; Stone needle armor
Description: the most minor of the stone armor techniques, the users body becomes coated with a very thin layer of earth over desired places and this forms in to very sharp, three inch long needles, though this doesn’t really block most kenjutsu attacks and falters against ninjutsu attacks of superior rank the needles will pierce the skin of attacking taijutsu users causing injury while effectively protecting the user, with an added burst of chakra these needles can be fired out but not replaced in the same turn. (firing it out costs as much chakra as making it)
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: C

Name: Earth release; Stone cage
Description: Similar to the earth spikes jutsu but for the purpose of capturing opponents, eight earth spikes the width of the users arm sprout from around a target and converge overhead to make a “cage” or rock that is quite difficult to break out of, though most ninja can generally slip out by striking the base of top of the cage its an ecelent delaying tactic for keeping opponents on the ground
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Earth release; tremor shockwave jutsu
Description: an advanced form of the rumbling earth technique, the user performs a series of hand seals stamps their foot to the ground and expels a large amount of chakra outward causing an intense tremor of greater magnitude than pervious techniques, this can cause the earth to shatter in to small stones and throw debris in to the air, its powerful enough to knock most ninja head over heals and cause damage when the victim lands, however most ninja can also jump out of the way of this jutsu fairly easily as its only one tremor in a desired direction. It has been known to uproot smaller trees but is best suited for situations where the opponent is resolutely earthbound.
Requires stone wall
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Earth release; pebble wave technique
Description: a jutsu where the user launches countless pebbles and stones from the ground at a wide area, the goal of which is to strike the target from multipul sides and overwhelm them with many, less than fist sized attacks, this technique is very difficult to doge but countered simply with most wall jutsu as they pebbles are simply solid objects not bodies of chakra but at its current rank can be quite damaging
Requires stone projectile
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Earth release; Earth spikes jutsu
Description: a simple jutsu where the user throws down a few hand seals before touching the ground calling up a small number of sturdy, very sharp earthen spikes up at under a target, aiming to price them from multiple sides these spikes take up a eight meter radius and can be summoned up ten yards away from the user, this is typically used at where a ninja is going to land to prevent them from landing safely. The spikes are fast, solid and deadly but don’t last to long apart from their initial attack and can outright crumble if struck from the sides or base.
Requires stone weapon
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Earth release; dome sheild
Description: This jutsu enables the user to create a wall not just all around him, but from above him as well. If the technique is successful, the user should be inside a thick dome of stone which is quite difficult to destroy. The disadvantages are obvious- one cannot see outside the dome, and an opponent would have time to prepare an attack the user won't be aware of. Furthermore, holding the dome together requires a great deal of chakra, and the jutsu can only be active for four posts and after that it will simply crash.
Requires stone wall or stone cage
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Earth release; earth prison
Description: a useful jutsu in which the user forms rock over a target in the shape of a dome, this dome however is the opposite of the dome shield, its purpose is to keep targets inside rather than keep the outside out. The prison is filled with the users chakra so most normal physical attacks and lower ranking jutsu cannot break out of it, the user is also unable to see the outside world normally and people outside the prison cannot sense chakra inside it
Requires stone wall or stone cage
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Earth release; Rock armor jutsu (minor)
Description: A vastly superior armor jutsu accomplished with less chakra than most, the user gathers a layer of solid rock around their bodies which is shaped and moved with chakra and about six inches thick, it hinders the speed dramatically but is a powerful ninjutsu able to allow the user to walk right through b rank offensive jutsu and can block all manor of physical attacks with their body, even catch bladed weapons. Though it is particularly weak against lightning basined attacks and hinders movement and vertical leap it also brings a degree of “weight” to punches and kicks
Requires stone needle armor
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: B

Name: Earth release; Earthly path jutsu
Description: perhaps the ultimate form of earth transportation, the user calls up a column of rock and stands on it as the rock continues to “grow” out of the ground, they can direct the steep “path” or rock and ride on it, this allows them to bypass hazards entirely and can also be used as an attack by kicking off the column and sending a four foot diameter bolder hurling toward the target from the coml., causing it to collapse.
Requires stone platform and stone wall or stone spikes
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: A

Name: Earth release; Rock armor jutsu
Description: the favored technique of nearly all rock users able to learn it, the user condenses the rock around their body to the point of becoming as hard as steel, enabling them to block all manor of physical attacks and even walk through a rank ninjutsu attacks, despite this the disadvantage to speed is about the same from the minor rock armor jutsu and the disadvantage to vertical leap is only slightly greater, the armor appears more like a second skin, being the same shape and closer to the form of the user.
Requires minor rock armor
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: A

Name: Earth release; Earth Dragon Jutsu
Description: A high level earth technique that assembles a stone structure resembling a dragons head and neck from the ground, large enough for the user to stand on. Though its incredibly slow at turning the dragon head is capable of firing out small boulders at the target and lasts for six posts.
Requires earthly path, stone spikes, and pebble wave jutsus
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: A

Name: Earth release; Rockslide jutsu
Description: this jutsu requires a cliff or mountainside but can actually trigger avalanches of dirt and stone then guide them toward the user, aiming to trample and crush them under a stampede of rolling stones.
Requires earthly path
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: A

Name: Earth release; Jagged forest jutsu
Description: A technique that turns whole battlefields into nothing but a forest of jagged stone spikes. This technique is also one of which that takes a full post to start up, between the sheer amount of chakra and the amount of seals needed. However, once the second post begins, there is a minute rumbling in the ground before the “forest” begins its rapid ascent to the sky. Earth is torn asunder and there is no stable ground for those fleeing to stand on before they meet their ends. It goes without saying that those unlucky enough to still be in the area would find themselves quickly becoming decorations of the new “trees.” (useable once a thread, performable while underground)
Requires earth spikes and stone caltrops with hidden among the rocks jutsu and tremor sense
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: A

Name: Earth release; Earthquake jutsu
Description: The user charges up a massive amount of chakra and unleashes it in the form of a huge tremor that effects the entire surrounding area, the earth shakes violently for two posts and this technique can be used to demolish structures, topple trees, split fissures in the earth and throw multiple opponents skyward like rag dolls to be smashed by rock and debris before crashing to the unstable earth, a truly terrifying display of power that uses a truly massive amount of chakra (takes a full post to prepare)
Requires tremor sense, rumbling ground, and earthly path jutsu
Type: Earth ninjutsu
Rank: A
