Global puppetry ninjutsu

-Puppet Jutsu- (requires at leist one ninja puppet)-
These are the universal puppet based ninjutsu, puppeteer ninja are aloud to add their own custom techniques as swaps to this tree in their personal jutsu lists, or use these techniques as swaps for a custom puppet ninjutsu technique list

Name: Chakra strings jutsu
(Marker, this technique is required for all others in the tree that come after it)
Description: the simplest puppeteering jutsu from which all puppet techniques come from, the user gathers chakra to the fingertips and creates thin strings of chakra that can be moved and attacked to things at will, though chakra strings can be cut they are usually to fine to be seen clearly and immensely difficult to find much less cut, the strings can pull things and move them in the air but cannot hold any actual weight as they are not inherently solid

Name: Puppetry technique
(Marker, this technique is required for all others in the tree that come after it)
Description: The grand purpose for chakra strings, in this jutsu the strings are affixed to points on a wooden puppet that has been fitted with weapons and hidden mechanisms and uses the strings to forcibly move the puppet from a distance to fight with out risk of injury, while the puppet user may not be particularly strong fast or durable for a ninja their puppet is all of those things thanks to the strings, able to make the puppet move though the air with out touching the ground and possessing full control over all of the puppets body. The only flaw is that the puppet user is defenseless while using their puppet and the strings are a link of chakra between the puppet and user

Note: the number of puppets one can use is dependant on rank
Genin can control one puppet with both hands fully
Chunin can use one puppet completely with one hand, allowing them to use two puppets at a time or other jutsu
Jonin can use up to three puppets at a time with both hands
S rank can use up to ten puppets at a time

Name: Chakra string tripwire jutsu
Description: More of a prank than anything else the user attaches the chakra string to someone’s ankle while they are not looking and “yanks” them slightly causing them to trip, this is however totally impossible to accomplish when someone is looking and utterly pointless in battle, though it might have some use in tactics such as pulling someone an inch from harms way

Name: Puppet easy transportation
Description: a simple jutsu in which a puppet is sealed inside a scroll for easy transportation or sneaky tactics

Name: Chakra string projectile jutsu
Description: a simple puppeteering jutsu in which chakra strings are attached to kunai or shuriken, typically threaded though the holes in the weapons and used to make them float in the air before launching them with a flick of the hands, the user is able to make shuriken spin faster and kunai rotate like drills while whipping the projectiles around on the strings and manipulating their path’s of trajectory making them veer and turn at will

Name: Rapid extension
Description: the puppets body, usually its limbs split apart in sequence, for example first the shoulder, then the elbow, then the wrist for an extended attack with the hand before rapidly snapping back together with chakra strings tough this can be used on any joint for any improved reach

Name: Deadly strings jutsu
Description: The user doubles the chakra in the strings, making them visible but also allowing them to cut the opponent like wire making them just as unlikely to be cut though the strings cannot be moved with out being attached to something it creates an interesting method of attack, the user throws a kunai with the deadly string attached, when the opponent doges the kunai the user makes the kunai veer so that the string moves back and forth cutting the opponent slightly before the user pulls back on the string for a round trip attack aiming to either hit them with the kunai or wrap them in the sharper string

Name: Chakra string roof tile shrunken technique
Description: a jutsu in which the user fans out chakra strings to nearby stones or debris and forcibly flings them at opponents form multiple sides, usually used as a distraction

Name: Puppet sight
Description: a jutsu in which the puppeteer uses their puppet as a vantage point, able to look though the puppet’s eyes like a camera though one eye, this takes practice to get use to but can be quite effective when hiding in earshot but out of view

Name: Maddening rotation
Description: The user flicks part of the puppet with a string to make it spin on its joint or mid air at a terrifyingly fast velocity for vicious attacks, if the entire puppet is rotated it can be flung at opponents like a whirligig of sharp poisonous death, often slicing away at objects in its path to clear the way to its target (or knocking them away depending on the puppets weapons)

Name: Puppet projectile control
Description: many puppets can fire projectiles of some kind, this jutsu attaches a string to those projectiles so the user can control them as if they were still attached to the puppet, able to make projectiles stop mid air, or follow targets as they move, even around obstacles

Name: Poison replenishing technique
Description: as most puppets are poisoned this jutsu allows the user to replicate the poison using their chakra so that the puppet never runs out, it is very handy for reloading poisonous attacks built in to the puppet but takes time to perform (three posts cool down) this technique can extend the duration of a poison gas sprayer by a full post or lace the weapon shooters (or weapon deployment slots) with poison insuring all attacks carry the effect even after the supply of poison in the puppet has run out

Name: Puppet substitution jutsu
Description: a substation in which the puppet and use switch places, it is ideal for keeping the user out of harms way as the puppet is often more durable than the user and is when all is said and done just an object, this substitution does not need to be prepared (see the rules regarding the regular substitution in the global ninjutsu tree) but is limited to once per thread. It can however be used in the same thread as normal substitutions

Name: Puppet reassembly jutsu
Description: since puppets have weaker joints and can split apart in to segments very easily (sometimes by design) this technique was devised to actually make the puppet reassemble itself using chakra strings, this does not undo serious damage or breaking but mealy puts the joints back in to place, it can be quite intimidating to watch as it gives the puppet the appearance of being invincible

Name: Puppet resistance shell jutsu
Description: A simple jutsu by which a layer of chakra is gathered around the body of the puppet through the strings to strengthen its defense against oncoming attacks, allowing the puppet to take reduced damage, splintering where it would otherwise shatter, being burned partially instead of entirely, this is usually enough to save the puppet but not enough to keep it from being damaged beyond use in combat

Name: Shared senses puppetry
Description: an advanced technique in which the user is able to look, listen feel and smell out of their puppet for one post, the flaw of this is that for that post they are unable to use their own senses. This makes the puppet a variable second body for the user in terms of the ability to spy on targets.

Name: Puppet shadow clone
Description: a jutsu in which the user makes a clone of their puppet capable of attacking that moves in accordance with the users will rather than with strings but disappears when struck, chunin can make one per puppet, jonin two per puppet

Name: Customization assembly
Description: a technique made for those who use more than one puppet allowing them to “mix and match” parts from puppet to puppet, even combine both in to a larger, stronger one, this makes all manor of combination attacks possible (such as kankuro’s black ant and crow working together by interlocking) this is useful for various custom puppetry attacks but also allows for chakra to act as a sort of glue, fitting together parts from different puppets that may not have been designed to go together

Name: Puppet subterranean ambush drill
Description: as puppets move their limbs with greater force than humans do they can use their bladed parts to burrow like drills with ease, this can be used as an attack or, more popularly as a clever trap in which the puppet burrows right under the opponent then drills out at them (takes one post to prepare, using a distraction is suggested)

Name: Puppet size altering
Description: A jutsu used to double or halve the size of a puppet effectively for a single post, this can be used to avoid attacks or to increase the likely hood of a hit, larger puppets are no more durable but do posses the next highest tier's strength

Name: Human puppet
Description: a technique that can only be performed on a willing subject in which chakra strings are attached to a friend and used to pull them about, this makes them a great deal faster and able to be moved though the air by the user as well as much stronger but is a great strait in the partner making them unable to move afterward for two posts (the user's chakra control and chakra power add to the subject's making it so the higher number among the two is always used for the purposes of the subjects effective speed and power) this technique has no set duration, but the user cannot employ any puppetry based techniques on or with the subject other than the human puppet. This technique is also useful for moving a paralyzed ally out of harms way.
